Ever since I partitioned my disk under macOS Sequoia the upgrades started to fail : at first it would say missing disk space so I removed almost every of my files and it said "failed to personalize download" now how would I want an installer not be personalized...
So I could not proceed to upgrades, I had the same problem on another MacMini and the only way out was to boot into recovery mode and repartition the disks to allow full size for macOS and reinstall from scratch.
So I tried this on my Apple Sillicon M2 and surprise, my firmware is bricked. The machine has absolutely no way to revive itself on support.apple.com/mac/firmware it says that you need another macOS installation and a full Mac with macOS Sonoma 14.
I don't have that.
Edit : I found another Mac but every time I tried it would :
The genius bar was pure genius, with a functioning cable they could boot into DFU and reinitialize my firmware. All is needed is another Mac and a (working) USB-C cable.
