Using KC3 to revive cl-unix-cybernetics
Could KC3 bring a new life to cl-unix-cybernetics ? Maybe so !
I want to rewrite cl-unix-cybernetics in KC3 but with facts-db in mind for resource declaration. This way you would get the power of the facts database with the cybernetics of UNIX.
Now that is entirely possible : we can add regular expressions from Perl to KC3 using C. Now I don't really like the Perl or Ruby way of regexes that are first class values in the language, I do prefer a solid API with well defined types and that would integrate better with C.
But first of all the cl-unix-cybernetics Common Lisp package needs to be refactored using facts-db for resource description.
After that it's just porting Common Lisp to C which is trivial with libkc3.
